Led by 19-year-old Cameron Shave, FUNKACADEMY is a Jazz JAM BAND made up of some of the GROOVEIST high school and college students in Massachusetts. This band made its debut with the Celebrity Series of Boston's Jazz Along the Charles in 2018. The band has opened for headliners such as Jason Palmer and his Quintet for the Celebrity Series of Boston's Neighborhood Initiative and provides music, culture, and STYLE to local communities.
